2011 Hire Costs

The Cromwell Road Theatre is available for hire during office hours - Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm. Outside of these hours, a venue technician must be present. Rates are $30 per hr (Monday to Saturday) and $60 per hr on Sundays on top of hire fees, for a minimum of a 4 hour call.

Venue Technician

Venue technician must be present for after hours hire (Weekdays after 6pm and all weekends)

The Cromwell Road Theatre is a fully functioning theatre – if the lighting rig is to be used, a venue tech must supervise even if it is during office hours.  Workers lights (fluoros) can be used without requiring a technician.
 
ADDITIONAL COSTS

All hirers are required to pay a security bond prior to the hire. This is refundable .
At the first session the use of lighting and sound equipment will be explained and upon completion all the lamps will be checked. Replacement globes will be charged to the hirer.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • During office hours the foyer, kitchen & courtyard are shared with Polyglot staff. Hirers are expected to keep these areas clean and tidy.
