Production, Design

Hannah is a Melbourne theatre designer who graduated in 2015 from VCA with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Production Design Realisation). Her credits include set design for Tim Phillips Gutted and Inside Out, set and props design for #princess by Fear+Love, props maker for In a Deep Dark Forest at ArtPlay and Melbourne Arts Centre and design assistant on Sarah Austin’s Only A Year, winning best kids work at Melbourne Fringe 2017. Hannah is also designer maker for the 2019 season of Bukjeh by Aseel Tayah.

In 2016 she worked as a design intern at Abbotsford Convent helping develop and facilitate a live mural artwork designed by Wurundjeri elder Uncle Colin for Open Spaces. The project invited all visitors to fill the mural with natural materials gathered from the local area with the help of the Wurundjeri Cultural Heritage Council.

She has worked with Polyglot Theatre since 2015 as production assistant and prop/costume maker. Most recently Hannah has worked as production assistant on two of Polyglot’s new works Hear Me Roar and Light Pickers.

Hannah loves hands on work and anything unconventional. Edible poo and intestines, a cloak room astronaut or velcro Christmas tree costumes, nothing’s too strange.
