Sustainability Policy

Polyglot Theatre acknowledges that climate change is real and that our organisation has a responsibility to measure, manage and reduce our environmental impact.

We are committed to sourcing sustainable resources, reducing waste and minimizing our carbon emissions. We recognize the social and cultural importance of achieving a sustainable organisation and will promote these beliefs to all our stakeholders and collaborating partners.

In 2014 Polyglot participated in the ‘Greenie In Residency’ project (City of Melbourne/Arts House) attending seminars, workshops and one-on-one consultations to better apply sustainability to our organisation. Our focus is on reducing carbon emissions from our materials, freighting and in-office procedures.

The company has a sustainability policy and promotes the message of using recycled materials to school children through our schools’ workshop program.
