Whistleblower Policy

Polyglot Theatre is a collaborative and inclusive organisation that is committed to the safety and wellbeing of its audiences, artists and staff. Polyglot operates with a comprehensive and proactive approach to risk, conduct and child safety. The following Whistleblower Policy was developed to ensure that in the instance of misconduct, concerned parties feel empowered to speak up, knowing that investigations and due process will be led in a way that is thorough and transparent.

The purpose of this policy is to: 

  • encourage disclosers to report an issue if they reasonably believe someone has engaged in serious wrongdoing
  • set out the avenues available to disclosers to report this misconduct to Polyglot; and
  • outline how Polyglot will handle whistleblowing reports and subsequent investigations.

By implementing this policy, Polyglot Theatre makes it clear that any misconduct or improper action by workers is not tolerated. For more information on Polyglot’s Whistleblower Policy, or to make a disclosure, contact Polyglot’s General Manager.

Polyglot Theatre developed this policy in line with its legislative requirements under the Treasury Laws Amendment (Enhancing Whistleblower Protections) Act 2019 and the Australian Securities and Investment Commission.
