Nature Play is series of activities for kids under five and their adults exploring what creative things we can make from nature.
In the garden lie dormant leaves, twigs and sticks scattered across the lawn. Children gather bringing these items to life, choosing from a series of activities to make cubbies, play games, or build whole worlds of their own. What slowly emerges through play is a series of shelters and secret worlds that reflect nature as young kids see it. Polyglot artists roam the garden encouraging and co-creating with the children. The kids leave their mark with sculptures and cubbies for the garden creatures to find.
In partnership with the Royal Botanic Gardens, this workshop welcomes children to get a much needed dose of creating and making fun things outside.
