Each year, Polyglot creates projects and productions with impact – impact on children’s development, in communities, and for parents, teachers and artists. Our impact reaches from socially-engaged projects in inner-city Melbourne, to collaborations with Aboriginal communities in regional Australia, to intercultural co-productions with our Indonesian neighbours, and so much more.
We focus on impact because we believe it’s vital to measure the positive outcomes of our creative engagement with children. In 2016, we surveyed hundreds of children and adults about their experience participating with Polyglot. The children identified most strongly with the words excited, creative and happy (76% of all respondents). Fostering creative and happy children is an outcome we’re very proud of – and it’s only possible through the generous support of people like you.
As the end of financial year approaches on 30 June please donate and help Polyglot deliver theatre experiences that have real impact on the lives of children and their communities.
