Polyglot’s 5678 Film Club is seeking volunteers!

5678 Film Club is a three-year project that supports young people making the transition between primary and secondary school in Collingwood. It runs as a weekly after-school film club where Polyglot Theatre and professional filmmakers undertake creative workshops with participants from Grades 5 – 8. The young people are co-creators in the film-making process, giving them a platform to tell their own stories in their own way, and make exciting, innovative and challenging films with children’s ideas and messages at their heart.

5678 Film Club volunteers will have the opportunity to support the professional artists and the young people in the development and creation of original short films. Film-making knowledge is a plus, and an interest in engaging with children creatively is essential.

All 2019 sessions will run 3.30pm-5.30pm – dates are below.
