Polyglot Theatre is Australia’s leading creator of interactive and participatory theatre for children and families. Our distinctive artistic philosophy has placed us at the international forefront of contemporary arts experiences for babies and children up to 12 years. Based at the Abbotsford Convent in Melbourne, the Polyglot team comprises ten full and part-time staff, alongside many contract artists, creatives and production staff. The Administration & Operations Coordinator has an integral role in the smooth running of the company’s office and programs, with a particular focus on facilitating the effective use of our space, systems and assets for staff and artists. This role will suit someone at an early stage in their arts administration career, with a particular flair for refining systems, solving logistical problems and ensuring operations run smoothly.
To succeed in this role, you will have excellent communication skills, a flexible “can do” attitude, enjoy both desk-based and hands-on work, and thrive with a busy and varied workload that spans all of Polyglot’s activities.
This is a 0.4 EFT position (2 days per week) and working conditions are flexible.
